• “Products” means any pet treats or other goods offered for sale on the Site.

3. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel any Order for any reason (for example if the product is out of stock, pricing error, or fraud concerns).
Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This is not a guarantee the order will be shipped; you will receive a separate confirmation once your Order has been shipped.
4. Shipping
4.1 Shipping Areas
We ship to addresses within Canada. All shipping charges and delivery details will be shown at checkout.
4.2 Processing Time
Orders are processed during our business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.
We aim to process Orders within 1–3 business days from receipt.
4.3 Shipping Methods & Times
Shipping times vary by location.
Estimated delivery times (once shipped) are:
• Within PEI: 1–3 business days
• Other Atlantic provinces: 2–5 business days
• Rest of Canada: 3–10 business days
These are estimates only. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, customs, weather, etc.
4.4 Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated based on your shipping address, the size and weight of your order, and the shipping method selected.
4.5 Risk of Loss
Once the carrier accepts the shipment, the risk of loss or damage to your order passes to you.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise stated, and are subject to change without notice.
We accept payments via the payment methods displayed at checkout (e.g., credit card, e‑transfer, PayPal, etc.).
You are responsible for any applicable taxes (GST/HST/PST), customs duties, or other governmental charges.
6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
6.1 General Policy
Because our Products are pet treats (perishable), we want you to be fully satisfied. If there’s a problem, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
6.2 Defects & Damages
If a Product arrives defective, damaged, or not as described, we will arrange a replacement, refund, or credit, at our discretion.
You may be asked to provide photographs or other proof of the issue.
6.3 Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned Product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refund will be issued via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel an Order before it has shipped by contacting us immediately.
If cancellation is accepted, any payment made will be refunded minus any non‑recoverable costs (if applicable).
8. Product Liability & Allergen Information
You are responsible for checking ingredient lists and determining if Products are appropriate for your pet.
We are not liable for allergic reactions or other issues arising from perishable Products once delivered, under normal use.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (images, text, design, logos) is owned by or licensed to Precious Pets.
You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our intellectual property without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Precious Pets is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of Products.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the Product(s) in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Prince County, Prince Edward Island.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on the Site and will take effect immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
